Seattle Day #3 Fishin

So on our last day we were all done with the sports events. So Steve was nice enough to take us out on his boat. We went out on the Puget Sound and fished for little "Sharks". Above is Kurt .

Seattle 08' Day #2

Sunday we hit a Mariners game. The Yankees were in town. Mariners won. But we got to see Jeter hit a homerun. The ballpark in Seattle is Awesome!

Here I am above with my "Chaperon".

I forgot to add this one yesterday. We were sitting right by Ty Detmer at the BYU game. Way cool to meet a dude we grew up watching play.

Seattle 08' Day #1

In 2008 it was back up to Seattle. We had been there in 06'. But with Steve still living there it worked out well. There were not any trips that worked with getting NFL and College in. And we felt we needed to be in Seattle since this was the year of "THE Quest" for BYU. Who can forget that. So Friday night we flew out and got to Seattle. We grabbed some food at The Cheesecake Factory with Steve and Teresa and then it was off to the Indian Casino. Here is a quick roll call for this year. Right below you have Big Dave Butler with Bob Tueller.
Above her is Kurt and Almond.
Now this is the part I have some explaining to do. Yes, that is my wife in the picture. And yes this is a "Guy Trip". Try to follow me here. Steve and Teresa (My brother and his wife) lived in Seattle and Ambur had never been up to see them. We knew they were about to move back to SLC so it was now or never if Ambur wanted to come up to see them. Buy that? OK! That is kinda the truth. This blog is about telling the true story, so here is it. I had a bit to much fun on our trip in 07'. A few to many "questionable" stories and a few to many "questionable" photographs made there way back to SLC and this was my version of being grounded. Buy that? You should. It's the truth. So here Ambur is with us on the trip.
On Saturday we headed to the Washington vs BYU game. This was the game where Jake Locker scored a TD in the final seconds of the game then threw the ball in the air and got a penalty. The extra point was then blocked. A huge debate then issued. It was an awesome stadium. Maybe the coolest one I have been in.
